As a person who loves books in general, I do not have especially one favourite book. But of course there are some, that I like more than the others. Here are two books of female writers which you definitely must read.

One of my favourite sort of books are classic novels. Therefore an example:
Wuthering Heights - by Emily Brontë
"He's more of myself than I am. Whatever our Souls are made of, his and mine are the same."
The loving but also very sad story of Catherine Earnshaw and her Heathcliff speaks to me everytime I read it - sometimes also in a completely new sense.
Jane Austen
As a young and self-confident female I naturally also tend to feministic works, which leads us to the great Jane Austen. One of her stories - probably the most famous one - I claim the most feministic novel I ever read in my life. You may not have read it and now are wondering which one I am talking/writing of? Here it comes:
Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen
"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife."
Elizabeth Bennet is a confident character with a strong personality and a Fighting heart. In her Story, she Needs to fight against the circumstances of a female of her age in her century. Love, society, marriage, pride and prejudice are the leading subjects.
Really, read it. At first you might hate Mr Fitzwilliam Darcy, but together with Lizzy you will soon start to discover his other side. The one that is the reason why every Woman, who reads this book, finally falls in love with him.
Get Inspired
These are two of my favourites. Yeah, there are a lot of great male Writers whose books I love too, but as much as we acknowledge them, we should do the same to our beloved women equally as much.
Love, Celine
